Moms Go Green

by Trina Giusti

I am not a huge fan of the global warming movement, or calling what is happening in our environment anything that has an agenda behind it. What I DO believe in is being a responsible consumer, respecting the Earth that we live on and teaching our kids to be responsible as well. That is going green to me.

I believe that we should recycle what we can, as our cities (at least in Arizona) have made it easy for us, by providing a big recycling bin to dump items that can be recycled. We should turn off the lights, and any other electrical appliance that we are not using if not for the planet, at least for our wallets!

Being a responsible consumer can happen in many ways, though it can be hard in our busy lives. What does "Going Green" mean to you and what are you doing that we can do as well?
